Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna & Ultraman Gaia: Battle in Hyperspace is a tokusatsu kaiju eiga produced by Tsuburaya Productions. It was a sequel to the previous year's Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna and became second in a succesful Ultraman series. This film is the only theatrical spinoff of the Ultraman Gaia TV series. In a change from previous Ultraman movies, this takes place in our own universe, in which Ultraman is just a popular kids' TV show. A young boy (and Ultraman addict) named Tsutomu finds a mysterious glowing ball that tells him it can make any wish come true. The one thing Tsutomu wants more than anything else is to meet Gamu, Ultraman's human counterpart, so he can give the boy some advice on how to standing up to the school bully, Chiba. Unfortunately, the bully finds the wishing ball and wishes for a giant monster to appear and starts destroying their suburban Tokyo neighborhood. Gamu and the Science Patrol team must then find a way to open a gateway between the two universes to stop the monster and save the world we live in, that's when Gamu intervenes and must get the help of Ultraman Tiga, and Ultraman Dyna when King of Mons spawns two new monsters to help him fight Ultraman. The Great Decisive Attack of Super-Time & Space This movie was released the same year as Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, and Godzilla 2000. The special effects in this film are awesome, especially for a film aimed at kids. This film also has an interesting story about a boy who receives a magical wishing ball, a bully uses it to call on an evil beast, and eventually an even bigger monster called King of Mons, This film ended up being as successful as "The Mummy" in Japan, and even dwarfing the amount of money Godzilla 2000 grossed.
